Inclusive Biomedical Visualization

Virtual reality is emerging as a viable technology for data display and exploration. We describe the technology and discuss its advantages and limitations as a technique for biomedical visualization. Several task applications are suggested. We conclude with a discussion of the technological requirements for bringing this approach to fruition.
